You should have just told her that it had always been there, and that you can't beleive she never noticed it before.  That sometimes works with my missus when I've been spending money.

Nah i havent bothered with a rear camera, dont let the missus drive my car so no worries about her reversing into anything. If anything i'll consider getting the dvd player but not at the moment.

Excellent. look really good, I fancy it myself but can't really justify the money for how much I'd use it.

How much did the Garmin black box cost?

Also, I might have the opportunity of purchasing the flip up console and screen together - how much has this cost people new? I know the console is about £70?

Im looking at getting the 7" Flip up screen from thexenonstore.com  wot else would i need so i can use it as a sat nav system?? and where can i get these extras from??  Also how  hard is it to install this screen, has anyone done this themself?

Your best bet is TTints multimedia navigation - they have all after market direct fit replacements, and the best thing is you can update and add parking sensors, dvbt, reariew cam etc as you go along and all there units are assembled here in uk with full repair and service centre. sp if u have any probs you dont have to hire a codebreaker to translate funny english to english

Not sure whether to start a new thread on this - but has anyone tried:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AES-7-MAZDA3-SAT-NAV-CAR-RADIO-DVD-PLAYER-GPS-MAZDA-3-/320523978123?pt=UK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_In_Car_Audio_Players_PP#ht_9862wt_1002

(ebay item 320523978123)

Doesn't seem too bad at £350 and good feedback on the 3 sold.

This is the one I'm getting:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250552461916&ssPageName=ADME:X:AAQ:GB:1123

OEM Quality from the pics he sent me plus its Digital TFT so allot clearer than the analog. Just waiting for the money now lol
