Hi everyone, I've got a 2011 mazda 3 2.2 185hp. It has about 150k miles. Recently the engine management light has come on coupled with the abs light, about a week later, the car suddenly has a lack of power. It was almost as if the turbo had stop working. So we had a mobile mechanic come look at it and he said the wastegate actuator had gone, and because you can't replace the actuator without having a new turbo, we'd need to buy a whole new turbo. For a refurbished twin turbo is £500. Does anyone have any idea or advice about this situation?
