Well, we've got it now, so can I ask a question on this forum about it, please?

 purchased a 2015 Mazda 2 Sport Nav for her.
Unfortunately, there was no user manual, just a starter guide and nav details
I cannot figure out how the rear screen heater works.
There are the 3 control dials, and the far-right one shows the rear screen motive/icon.
So is it just a case of depressing the middle button, or something else?
Any help will be very much appreciated.

Gonna say "yes" looking at the panel that would make sense.

Turn the knob all the way right for front and press for rear.

Where did you see/find the"panel" please?

I googled it to bring up a picture of it. Looks similar in principle to the one in the 3 minus the dual zone controls.

My opinion would be set the various knobs to "auto" and let it crack on. Appears if you press the inside of the right hand dial a light should come on confirming heated window is on.

It's the same as if you pressed the inside of the left dial. That brings on the A/C with an indicator light.
