MAP or MAF or both?

Hi all,

Firstly, I know little about cars so please excuse my ignorance! 

OBD error code Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor/barometric pressure (BARO) sensor correlation.  I own a 2005 Mazda 3 TS2 1.6 diesel.  Every now and then car will go in to limp mode and not go over 3000 RPM. 

Question 1 - I know where the MAF sensor is on the car and will be removing it, inspecting and cleaning it this weekend.  I have no idea however where the MAP sensor is located.  I purchased a Haynes manual but it only shows petrol engines! 

Any help, assistance or opinions welcome!

Do you know if the engine in yours is the same as in the gen 2? If so, I can post a pic of mine with it circled. In mine it's on the left as you look into the engine bay from the front bumper. I don't know the technical terms either, but it pokes into the main air pipe after it leaves the turbo but before it goes into the engine.

I can't circle it on my phone but I think it's the component near the bottom right of the photo held in by a torx screw with a red dot in the middle. May well be located elsewhere on a gen 1 model, though.

This is from memory when I took it off to spray EGR valve cleaner in the intake. I think I googled the part number and it came back Mass Air Pressure sensor. Would have to check in daylight if you need me to.

Would you also happen to know where the Barometric pressure sensor is located too?  I am not savvy with gen of engines etc but I can safely say my engine looks the same as yours in the picture you have kindly provided 

I am getting a P0069 fault on the car and it goes in to limp mode often.  I have cleaned out the MAF and would like to clean out the MAP and Barometric pressure sensor also before I satart replacing parts.

Ooh, I've not even heard of that one I'm afraid. Sorry. I will post again if I find out.
