Servicing - Mazda 3 Takuya

Hi all,

After a bit of advice if possible please.
I have a 3 Takuya on a 2010 plate, full history and need to get the 10 year service. Local Mazda dealer has quoted approximately £400. Does this seem about right ? Would anyone know what items are completed at 10 years as well.

Also looking to change headlights (usual fogging) however unsure if I should go for the same manufacturers headlights or after market headlights ?

It depends which service they are doing and what is included. If memory serves the FL22 coolant needs replacing at 10 years so if they are doing that may explain why the bill is a bit high.

If they aren't doing that the bill is pie in the Sky I paid 420 for a year 6..but year 6 is the most major service the car has other than the same at year 12.

Year 10 is a major as all the even ones are but without any more information it does seem rather steep.

Personally I'd attack the headlamps with either a restoration kit or tooth paste before paying for a new set. I've brought mine back to clear a few times with regular polish but obviously depends how far gone they are.
